Shorts are 45 minutes and under. All Dates are Postmarked Dates.

Entry fees must be in US funds. PayPal, Money Orders and Checks Accepted, and should be made out to Festival League.

ONLINE CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS

Entry fees can be securely paid online via PayPal. Please make payments to festivalleague@gmail.com or click the link. Be sure to mention you paid via PayPal on your entry form. A completed entry form and an entry fee must accompany each film.

FORMATS

Entries must be submitted on DVD, Blu-Ray, or Withoutabox Secure On-line Screener. Foreign language work must be dubbed or subtitled in English or Spanish. Please send any press kits, reviews, or publicity materials only after acceptance.

SHIPPING

Cost of shipping exhibition prints to the festival is the responsibility of the entrant. Exhibition copies must be sent to the festival prepaid. The festival can not accept responsibility for damage or loss of materials while in transit. Please try to use as little packaging material as possible to cut down on trash.

CONFIRMATION

Please enclose a stamped, self-addressed postcard if you wish to receive confirmation that your entry has been received. Please do not ask for signature confirmation, although you may ask for delivery confirmation. Feel free to email info@festivalleague.com if you would like confirmation of delivery.

SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

Programming decisions are made by the festival directors and our selection committee. If accepted, we will notify filmmakers by email. After acceptance, the presentational format will need to be in our office two weeks before the festival. Be sure to indicate aspect ratio of your film/video as well as any other special screening/presentation information we might need to know. We do not pay rental fees for submitted work that is programmed.

AWARDS

Although the art of filmmaking is not competitive, the festival will present awards to films selected as best in various categories: Best Documentary Feature, Best Documentary Short, Best Director, Best Foreign Documentary, etc.

RETURN OF ENTRY MATERIALS

Due to the large number of entries received submission materials and videos will not be returned.
